One of the mistakes first-time entrepreneurs make is failing to sweat the details.  Watching the craftsman below turn a tree into a bow, step by patient step, reminds me of how much attention to detail needs to go into turning an idea into a profitable business.

Then again, do note that another mistake first-time entrepreneurs make is worrying too much about perfection.  What you should also take away from this video is that few customers can afford to pay for all the time and materials put into this one bow.  Sometimes, that is the right product for the market.  Other times a machine-made, mass produced, low cost bow is a better business.
